Coming back from Eel Pie Island, we accidentally stumbled upon these huge statues frolicking in a pond filled with water lillies.

York House is “statley home” of a courtier to King Charles the 1st, currently used as council offices and home to this ridiculous garden. It is next door to the Orleans House, the home to one of King Charles the 2nd’s lady friends. History!
The home also featured this sunken garden:
